Opening a stereo file yields separate left and right spectrograms and waveform displays. With a mono file open, the GUI shows you a small (but size-adjustable) waveform display above the spectrogram. If you decide to undo an edit, the (undo) History list is easily accessible on the right hand side of the user interface.
